I feel like I could have done way better on this assignment on my own. Feeling frustrated with my group I have to admit that I just kind of gave up on the assignment, and I feel really bad for doing that because I usually always try my best at every assignment I can, because I want the best grade possible.
Problem-solving techniques I learned this week have to be that I don’t like group projects but I need to get the work done in a timely manner no matter what any of the other members have done. Is that a problem solving technique?
I agree with being able to do better on my own. I have not had good experiences in the past with collaborative assignments and I do not expect this one to be any different. It is very frustrating when you are the only one concerned with getting a good grade. Personally, I take things into my own hands and just let everyone else get whatever grade I am going to get. It's not fair to have to do all the work, but it's better than getting a bad grade if the other members choose not to do anything. This assignment has been extended to next week so maybe give them a little more time. They may have had a busy week.
ReplyDeleteI am having the same issues myself. I haven't gotten any replies back from my classmates. I took things into my own hands and started it as well. I spoke with the teacher and all. I feel sometimes aggravated with people who don't respond, or respond too late. I am simply just going to do the best I can and like Brandi said "its better than getting a bad grade" so i will simply just do it and get it done. I feel a little better knowing that some of my classmates are going through the same issues.
ReplyDeleteGroup assignments can be so difficult sometimes. I like them sometimes, but only when I am in a face-to-face class and can actually get together with my team members and work. Even though my team isn't working that well together I am trying to do my best on the assignment. Good luck you guys with your group assignment.I hope we all get good grades.
